Forever Alone

Through the years I wonder alone
Waiting for a love to call my own
Too many times I've tried to change this lonely stride
Yet still I remain here forever alone to abide.
I love very few but when I do they don't love me in return
so here am I forever alone always to yearn
for a love so true what more can I do?
I always love too much and I am always
just out of reach of their touch
I've given up what more can I do forever alone
is my fate I cannot take the wait.
My love is genuine and true still I am
without you.
Have I loved too much? what more must I do?
To make you see that I love you
What more can I give? What else does it take?
to make you see how much I only want you.
I will never settle for less so I will deal with the distress
of missing you every day only to see you walk away.
My journey is hopeless but it is the only one for me
Forever alone I choose to be if I cannot have you.
I don't want any other, no one can even compare
to you so why even try to find someone new
I only want you. Forever alone is my fate
because it is my choice to make.
I don't wanna live if I can't have you
Forever alone is what I will do
Because without you I don't even care
to be here.
Forever alone is what I must do
if I can't have you.

I was concerned for him every day Although I knew he'd never look my way I felt drawn to him in so many odd ways His eyes touched the deepest depth of my being I knew I was wishing for hopeless things & dreaming But this man was like no other I had ever known it was as if he could see the real me without being shown it at all I wanted to walk away but it was if his soul would call and I could not turn away at all no matter how hard I tried to go astray It was if our connection was yet unknown but kept us near With him I had no fear I could be myself and not be afraid to reach out My mind was always tossing me doubts but my heart knew better it never wavered for it was his essence I savored I longed to feel his touch but I knew I wanted too much I want fate to decide so I will be patient and wait What is meant to be will always find a way & I hope to meet this man someday. When I feel my patience running thin I think again I think of how much I love you and how your heart has touched my soul so unique  and new  I try to be understanding and caring because I know the burdens you are bearing It is hard to say what I feel when I look at you It is true No words can comprehend my feelings  deep in my soul I have no control Many times I thought of giving up and I think no more could be given but My love for you keeps me driven Love does not take kindly to changes so abrupt Why tear down what has taken so long  to build up? Love needs time to grow anew  You can't just give up you have to follow through Once your heart has decided who is right for you To truly touch the heart of another you have to be patient even though your weary They may try others before they reach you but if your heart is insistent you have to be persistent.  So much love is lost by those who have given in to despair when they should have stayed aware Love hap
