It was a dark and foggy night when the cemetery came into sight Standing by an unmarked grave was a man who gave a shy wave I walked over till he came into view such an odd place for him to stand but he seemed a bit blue as I shook his hand I asked him are you alright? it's so dreary tonight He said I'm fine I find this place quite serene I said hmmm I see what you mean He said Have a seat pointing down as his feet So I sat down I'm not sure why but I didn't want to seem shy He said his name and I told him mine then I asked why do you find this place so sublime? He said what most people fear I find quite dear I'm an investigator of the dead then he said does that fill you will dread? I said no I find it quite exciting someplace I don't mind being led. he said I see as he leaned over to me to touch my cheek causing a spark that made me feel weak. I tried for love many times only to be tossed aside Why should I try anymore? I've given up on the dream it seems it was never meant to be for me I just can't win They can't see when I try to let them in  so my walls go back up but this time they will stay never again will they be torn away. I am done hurting thats all I do even though my love is true. I feel there is no one for me because no one can see the real me. I'm very discouraged & though I have much courage I am hopeless to be sure & I will fall no more. Love has been like a cold abyss to me Endless, Hopeless, Emotionless,  you seem to fall forever aimless,  directionless, motionless you  think you are going somewhere & you just end up nowhere. I'm tired of the neverending falling I feel it's meaningless How has love become so empty? In the past Love was made to last now it seems it is an unwelcome task. Does anyone care to give love anymore? Getting something in return is not what love was meant for. I see so many careless, empty people anymore it takes two to make it work for you Maybe everyone thinks it's a waste of time Showing someone you care is like a crime I never thought emotions could ever become so out dated maybe love is overrated Love is the foundation on which we all stand Without it our strength is like sand always there but never firm enough to withstand Life's highs & lows does no one remember we reap what we sow? It's like planting a rose garden without any soil...

Lovers Wait a Paradise to create One surrenders while the other runs away Deep emotions left unexplored Cause One loves more When giving your heart You never know if acceptance will be a part of this story And all for Love's Glory When your soul has found the one Will this love just leave you undone? They don't feel the same but still the truth remains You are so sure you could never love someone more So what to do when love isn't returned? Only to get burned but you took the chance on romance Will this love ever be remains to be seen Do you move on? hold on? even though they're already gone They won't give you the chance to make it work all is lost it seems even though Your love for them still beams if only as as beacon for them to return maybe someday What is meant to be will always find a way but falling in love can leave you in such dismay. You don't want to try again or start over at all so much love is wasted without being tasted is it even worth the fall ...

A chill is in the air  Fall is here Hot chocolate, sweaters & cozy things to cuddle Rain that comes to rest in a puddle Vibrant colors of orange, yellow and red & the night of the restless dead Halloween paints a chilling scene Howling winds & a full moon can be seen as the leaves rustle in between the trees this one night the  spirits can be free to roam about they  will give you a fright I have no doubt. This autumn night will soon end in the season of fall on cold weather you can depend to give you a chill but Halloween fun is such a thrill Take time to appreciate the colored leaves, the cool breeze and the fun amongst the trees. and Have a Happy Halloween!  Copyright Christy 2014
