(I wrote this for all those gals that have felt rejection at one time or another in their life like me)

Love yourself first never magnify the worst
Love is meant to be slow and easy
Please yourself first
Have a mind of your own
to yourself always be kind
When a man rejects you
think things through
Take a moment to reflect
It's his loss now you're the boss
Of your own destiny
Don't mark yourself down
Be yourself he'll come around

Not Your True Reflection
Your love is your heart's
song Stay Strong Never wonder if
it's wrong
Always be true to you...just you
Love is never easy to do
But you always have to love you
Take time to make a choice
It is only your voice that should come through
no matter what others say or do
Love is worth every minute you
spend in it
Make sure it is solid ground
on which you stand
Then Love is sure to come around

Like No Other Man I Ever Knew

I was concerned for him every day Although I knew he'd never look my way I felt drawn to him in so many odd ways His eyes touched the deepest depth of my being I knew I was wishing for hopeless things & dreaming But this man was like no other I had ever known it was as if he could see the real me without being shown it at all I wanted to walk away but it was if his soul would call and I could not turn away at all no matter how hard I tried to go astray It was if our connection was yet unknown but kept us near With him I had no fear I could be myself and not be afraid to reach out My mind was always tossing me doubts but my heart knew better it never wavered for it was his essence I savored I longed to feel his touch but I knew I wanted too much I want fate to decide so I will be patient and wait What is meant to be will always find a way & I hope to meet this man someday. When I feel my patience running thin I think again I think of how much I love you and how your heart has touched my soul so unique  and new  I try to be understanding and caring because I know the burdens you are bearing It is hard to say what I feel when I look at you It is true No words can comprehend my feelings  deep in my soul I have no control Many times I thought of giving up and I think no more could be given but My love for you keeps me driven Love does not take kindly to changes so abrupt Why tear down what has taken so long  to build up?
