The Most Valuable Treasure
The most valuable treasure to me
you may not be able to see.
A friend could be considered a treasure
in the right measure.
Fools' gold may be a friend who looks
like the real thing but,
inside there is nothing.
Good friends are like precious stones
each having their own tones.
Stay away from imitations
save yourself the frustration.
Find a good friend that will
stick with you till the end.
Then you will find the greatest treasure too,
a friend that is true.
Once you find this treasure store it
someplace safe, in part
right in your heart.
