The One

There's comes a point in time when you find
That one person that eases you mind The one you know you'll never be the same without
The one that dissolves all you doubts. Even though they cannot be yours you know before long
They will come along once more Sometimes you have to let go till there is a better chance
At this once in a lifetime romance. What is meant to be will always be And in due time you will see
That is the way it will be.
Two hearts linked by chance heed destiny's call
Each and every time for one and all.
When you know in your heart right from the start
That time and distance can never keep you apart
You take a chance and maybe the time isn't right
But something makes you keep them in sight
You let go knowing it isn't the end
it is just a glance at a once in a lifetime chance.
That even though it might not happen now
The universe is teaching your heart how to be open
to what will come when the time is right for you to play your part.
Then this one person that is meant for you will come back into view.
When you get this rare feeling for someone that you know will
never come again that is when you know you have found The One.
Even though they may not feel the same right now
You know in time your feelings will remain forever unchanged
and one day they will feel the same.
Time has no say when it comes to standing in the way of true love.
What is meant to be will always find a way.
