I feel I need to be awakened
Love that is tossed about but not shaken
Love that lasts evicting the ghosts from the past
Awakened by the slightest touch
I want to love you so much

 Waiting so long for that one chance
To experience romance
Tossed and Tried 
So numb inside
You've awakened the longing
For love's bonding

 Awakened I feel when you are near
Awakened by love's call
Awakened willing to risk it all
You've awakened my heart
Awakened it like never before
Awakened only wanting more

 You can't see what you've done to me
awakened by your love 
only with you I long to be
awakened from the dust 
an awakening for my heart 
and willing to trust

Like No Other Man I Ever Knew

I was concerned for him every day Although I knew he'd never look my way I felt drawn to him in so many odd ways His eyes touched the deepest depth of my being I knew I was wishing for hopeless things & dreaming But this man was like no other I had ever known it was as if he could see the real me without being shown it at all I wanted to walk away but it was if his soul would call and I could not turn away at all no matter how hard I tried to go astray It was if our connection was yet unknown but kept us near With him I had no fear I could be myself and not be afraid to reach out My mind was always tossing me doubts but my heart knew better it never wavered for it was his essence I savored I longed to feel his touch but I knew I wanted too much I want fate to decide so I will be patient and wait What is meant to be will always find a way & I hope to meet this man someday. When I feel my patience running thin I think again I think of how much I love you and how your heart has touched my soul so unique  and new  I try to be understanding and caring because I know the burdens you are bearing It is hard to say what I feel when I look at you It is true No words can comprehend my feelings  deep in my soul I have no control Many times I thought of giving up and I think no more could be given but My love for you keeps me driven Love does not take kindly to changes so abrupt Why tear down what has taken so long  to build up? Love needs time to grow anew  You can't just give up you have to follow through Once your heart has decided who is right for you To truly touch the heart of another you have to be patient even though your weary They may try others before they reach you but if your heart is insistent you have to be persistent.  So much love is lost by those who have given in to despair when they should have stayed aware Love hap
