A Touch of Romance, That First Memorable Glance, Take a Chance Ask Him to Dance. They Say Fairy Tales Never Come True But, I Believe In You. There is One Thing You Can Never Disguise The Passion In Your Eyes. They Say In Love You Have to Make Your Own Magic and Trust Fate But, Love Sometimes Can't Wait. You Know He is Taken But Your Body Starts Shaking Every time He is Near. You Try Not To Stare as He Takes Your Breath Away, for You Know Only in a Dream It Can Be This Way, It Adds a Touch of Romance to Your Day. The most valuable treasure to me you may not be able to see. A friend could be considered a treasure in the right measure. Fools' gold may be a friend who looks like the real thing but, inside there is nothing. Good friends are like precious stones each having their own tones. Stay away from imitations save yourself the frustration. Find a good friend that will stick with you till the end. Then you will find the greatest treasure too, a friend that is true. This year I resolve to make friends with my fellow man To lend a helping hand. To help those in need, For lost ones I will plead To make a fresh start To think from my heart. To give where the need is great For there is too much hate. If I could do all these things What change would it bring? I think I need to start with me This is where I see the greatest need to be. I need to thank God for the many blessings this past year For it is only when I walk with him my path is clear I need to make sure he stays in my heart this coming year Then and only then can I spread good cheer. Yes I believe this New Year's Resolution is the Solution Walking with him and trusting him in all I do this year. Only then can all my burdens bear. God can only make a Happy New Year. We will never forget that day Loved ones lost and lives in disarray. As we watched and mourned the loss of our fellow man All across this great land. To those responsible we had to say You will not get away. Patriotism was seen for far and wide But seem to disappear with the tide. Have we lost our spirit reborn that day? Did we give Ole Glory away? The events still are clear to me I can't understand what I see. No one wants to see more lives lost, But they don't understand the cost Of the freedom we have today They want to let them take it away. We didn't earn our freedom by standing still No one wants to kill We just want justice to be done Patriotism is an army of one. We all have good within  Keeping it hidden could be a sin.  When is the last time you shared  a smile?  When is the last time you went  that extra mile?  To help a friend in need,  this is true friendship indeed.  So where do you begin, to find  this Angel within?  Where there is a need would it  be your creed, to lend a helping  hand and take a stand?  To help your fellow man is a job  for all to say I can.  Angels are everywhere.  Everyone should care.  If only for your own kin, find your  Angel within.  Copyright Christy 2013

Do you ever wonder why? Then start to cry. Do you search for a meaning? While tear drops are streaming. You seem so alone and wonder why your life has taken this tone. Perhaps it's because you never paused to look inside, to see if hope presides. Maybe you should look in the great book or to the heavens above where hope is as free as a dove. Can you catch it? No. You have to know how to ask without a mask. God gives hope freely, though it does not come cheaply. Hope is like a foundation, why this interpretation? Hope has to start off strong so it can live on. You will know when it's in your life even though it takes strife. God can give you the strength you need so you can proceed, knowing you've found hope to abound, right where it belongs in your heart and never again will it part. So when you think you've reached the end, You can always depend on the Lord to listen as the sun will always glisten, as you bask all you have to do is ask. Copyright Christy 2013
